Biography

Sarah Graves represents clients in complex commercial litigation. Her experience includes drafting dispositive and summary judgment motions, taking depositions, and briefing and arguing discovery disputes. Before joining WTO, Sarah was an associate in the Denver office of an AmLaw 200 firm. 

She has handled a wide range of business disputes involving issues ranging from attorney-client privilege to unpaid royalties and breaches of contract. She also has experience in employment-related matters involving wrongful termination, wage claims, trade secrets, and antitrust matters. Her pro bono experience includes constitutional law work.

While in law school, she gained valuable experience as an extern at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Colorado Court of Appeals. Before starting her legal career, Sarah worked in development for a charter school management organization and served as an AmeriCorps volunteer.

  • Obtained dismissal of Title VII employment discrimination claims against a hospital system.
  • Won a motion for partial summary judgement in a trade secrets lawsuit.
