Biography

Ellen Blatt represents clients in complex health care liability trials and commercial litigation, and in class actions. As a former practicing physician and health care business owner and executive, Ellen uniquely understands healthcare clients’ businesses—which leads to invaluable legal counsel. 

Before joining WTO, Ellen was a Judicial Assistant/Law Clerk to Colorado Supreme Court Justice Maria E. Berkenkotter. While in law school she held legal intern positions with Colorado Supreme Court Justice Richard L. Gabriel and with the Office of the Colorado Attorney General. Before starting her legal career, Ellen earned her M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine and spent almost 20 years as a practicing physician; she was named "Best Pediatric Radiologist in Denver” in 5280 magazine’s 2015 list of Denver’s “top doctors.” 

At WTO, Ellen’s experience has included representing clients in the oil and gas industry in a high-stakes derivative suit.
