Stephanie successfully second-chaired the trial of a high damages lawsuit filed by her client against a real estate developer, winning damages and an award of legal fees for the client. She has second-chaired arbitrations and has participated on numerous trial teams defending complex pharmaceutical product liability or medical negligence cases. She has extensive experience coordinating the nationwide defense of mass torts cases in multidistrict litigation and helping clients streamline their litigation strategies, including on teams that have successfully resolved numerous product liability cases for Advanced Bionics, Pfizer, Northstar Rx LLC and McKesson Corp.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie litigated complex commercial and pharmaceutical product liability cases at Arnold & Porter LLP. She also represented clients in general commercial disputes and state and federal antitrust cases. While at Arnold & Porter, Stephanie also served as pro bono counsel in immigration removal proceedings and for felony criminal defendants in Denver metro-area district courts. Stephanie also spent several months litigating human rights and constitutional claims for the Legal Resources Centre in Grahamstown, South Africa prior to joining the firm. Prior to studying law, she served as an editor at number of daily newspaper publications in the United States and abroad, including The Indianapolis News and the Prague Post in Prague, Czech Republic.
Stephanie’s personal interests include travel, distance road cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing (she is a PSIA-certified level II ski instructor), as well as the study of wine and wine culture (she is a certified wine sommelier).
