During law school, she externed for the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, where she researched and prepared memoranda for U.S. Attorneys.
