Wheeler Trigg Kennedy Names Four New Partners

DENVER - The Denver-based trial law firm of Wheeler Trigg Kennedy LLP is pleased to announce the following new partners effective January 1, 2007: Michael D. Alper, Andrew C.S.. Efaw, Julie M. Walker, and Michael T. Williams.
Michael D. Alper is engaged in a practice that emphasizes the defense of insurance companies in consumer-initiated litigation, including cases brought as class actions. He also has represented and counseled clients in commercial, real estate, and other matters. A former associate at Pillsbury Winthrop, Mr. Alper has a law degree from Stanford Law School and a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Andrew C.S. Efaw practices in the areas of commercial, franchise, and product liability litigation, primarily for companies in the automotive, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Efaw is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and has served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps as Senior Trial Counsel in Fort Lewis, Washington and Senior Defense Counsel for Northern Iraq. Mr. Efaw is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.
Julie M. Walker has assisted individuals and businesses in a wide range of industries to resolve litigation in several areas of the law, including commercial, construction, employment, intellectual property, product liability, professional liability, and securities. Ms. Walker has taught trial skills at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is the immediate past President of Judge William E. Doyle American Inn of Court. Ms. Walker is a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law with a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College.
Michael T. Williams focuses his practice on the litigation of class action, commercial, product liability, and professional liability disputes in federal and state courts for companies in a variety of industries. After graduating from Yale Law School where he was Senior Editor of The Yale Law Journal, Mr. Williams served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nancy Gertner of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
