Tom Hunter has represented clients in matters involving product liability, commercial contracts, insurance defense, intellectual property disputes, personal injury claims, and land-use and real property disputes. Tom has successfully initiated and managed cases in all phases including intake, settlement negotiation, discovery, depositions, motions practice, and post-judgment collection.
Tom's experience includes:
- Assisting in the successful resolution of 17 arbitrations as part of WTO's Chrysler Group Franchise Arbitrations Team, including the drafting and assembly of multiple successful motions submitted prior to final hearings.
- Formulating, researching, and drafting key arguments of Memorial Briefs in a complex international arbitration under ICC rules. The case, which involved large-scale industrial construction contracts, required the application of U.S., English, German, and Venezuelan law.
- Investigating and performing legal analysis for large, multi-party arbitration involving intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, and royalties payment disputes. Tom's client obtained highly advantageous settlement terms against a large international software development corporation.
