WTO Defends Telecommunications Company in Whistleblower Employment-at-Will Case

A Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell trial team led by Raymond Martin and John Fitzpatrick won a defense verdict on behalf of a large telecommunications company in an employment law case that involved important issues under the public-policy exception to Colorado's employment-at-will doctrine.

The company had fired a sales manager for insubordination.  In response, she filed a whistleblower suit against the company.

After a one-week jury trial in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the jury returned a complete defense verdict in favor of WTO's client.
