Men-Guer Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc. v. Chrysler Corp., Nos. 92-3923, 92-3924, 1994 WL 7609 (6th Cir. Jan 12, 1994)

Our client's agreement with a dealer pre-dated the enactment of the applicable portion of Ohio's dealer act. Our client brought a suit to enforce a settlement agreement. The district court dismissed the suit for lack of jurisdiction because the dealer act granted jurisdiction to the Ohio Motor Vehicle Dealers Board. On appeal, the Sixth Circuit reversed and found the dealer act did not apply retroactively to this dealer's agreement with our client.
