In his domestic and international practice Matt Stevens has represented clients in commercial disputes and government investigations before U.S. federal and state courts, U.S. regulatory agencies, arbitral panels and the European Commission.
Matt has represented both U.S. and non-U.S. corporate clients in a diverse range of industries, including those in the automotive, petrochemical, reinsurance, financial services, pharmaceutical, accounting, travel, recording media and mining industries, as well as manufacturers of consumer goods. He also has participated in the representation of four football-playing universities of The Big East Conference in connection with the planned move of several schools to the Atlantic Coast Conference.
His representation has covered a wide variety of litigation and regulatory matters, including those relating to antitrust, commercial contracts, commercial banking, corporations and securities, insurance, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, white collar criminal investigations, and investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, and the Commission of the European Communities.
