Evan Stephenson debated former CTLA president Ross Buchanan. The debate concerned the validity of the claims made by Susan Saladoff's documentary about the McDonad's "hot coffee" case and other cases, which had aired on HBO. The event was sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild and the Federalist Society and permitted attendants to receive CLE credit.
