Denver Heart Surgeon Wins in Med Mal Lawsuit

DENVER - Kevin J. Kuhn, a partner in the Denver-based trial law firm of Wheeler Trigg Kennedy LLP and DRI member, obtained a defense verdict for a prominent Denver heart surgeon in Denver District Court. The jury deliberated only 10 minutes before returning the verdict in favor of the physician. The case involved claims of post-operative complications following a mitral valve repair. Amy Cook-Olson of Montgomery Little Soran & Murray, P.C. served as co-counsel with Kuhn.
