Colonial Dodge v. Chrysler Corp.
, Nos. PR-1584-97, 1585-97, 1586-97 (Cal. NMVB Dec. 15, 1998)
When a number of California motor vehicle dealers protested the establishment of an additional dealer within their relevant market area, our client demonstrated sales opportunity sufficient to support the new dealership. The California New Motor Vehicle Board found that the new franchise would increase competition within the RMA and therefore contribute to the public interest. The dealer was unsuccessful in obtaining a stay of the ruling and dismissed its appeal.
