Baker and Clouatre Named Directors at WTK

DENVER - On Jan. 1, Sean D. Baker and Mark T. Clouatre became directors of the Denver-based trial law firm Wheeler Trigg & Kennedy, P.C.  Their election brings to 20 the number of directors at the firm, which will observe its fifth anniversary Feb. 1.

"Wheeler Trigg & Kennedy is a nationally recognized trial law firm with Fortune 100 clients," said Michael L. O'Donnell, firm president.  "Sean and Mark have served these clients well; we are pleased to welcome them as directors of the firm."

Baker, 33, has concentrated his practice on complex commercial, employment, intellectual property, and professional liability disputes and lawsuits.  He has favorably resolved cases throughout Colorado and in other Western states.  He received his law degree (1995), cum laude, from Arizona State University, where he was Order of the Coif as well as articles and symposium editor of the Arizona State University Law Journal.  Baker holds an undergraduate degree (1992) in political science from the University of Colorado.  He joined WTK as an associate in 1998; he was previously with Fairfield & Woods.

Clouatre, 32, focuses his practice on franchise, commercial, product liability, toxic torts, professional liability, and appellate disputes and lawsuits.  He has tried cases before judges and juries in California, Colorado, Nevada, Ohio, and Texas.  He received his law degree (1995), cum laude, from Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he was president of the SMU Law Review Association.  Clouatre holds an undergraduate degree (1992) in finance from the University of Colorado.  He joined WTK as an associate in 1999; he was previously at Davis Graham & Stubbs and Fulbright & Jaworski.
